The SIMMONS RKS – II Rotary Knife Sharpener is specially designed for circular blades up to 18″ (460 mm) in diameter.

FEATURES

Equipped with a grinding disc with an adjustable platform for notching blades as needed.

Includes a bevel gauge for easy and accurate selections of bevel angle.

A set of adaptors are included for attaching blades of various bore sizes to the sharpener. These adaptors are available from 3/8″ to 2 5/8″ (10-65 mm) diameter. Notify SIMMONS if you need any special adaptors of various shapes and sizes.

The RKS-II is powered by a 1/2 hp, 115-230 v, single-phase / 60 Hz motor with V-belt drive.

PRODUCT DETAILS

The RKS – II is efficient and simple to operate and hones a razor-sharp edge in the exact, true ra¬dial center of the blade. The RKS-II sharpens circular blades from 4 1/2″ to 18″ (115-460 mm) diameter with a 4-16 degree bevel range per side.

Circular blades from 3″ to 4 1/4″ (10-110 mm) in diameter can be sharpened with a single-bevel at angles up to 40 degrees by the use of a single-bevel sharpening attachment which is included with the machine.
